1. Introduction

Welcome to Redrex (Pty) Ltd (“Redrex”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service govern your use of our services, website, and any logistics, freight, or distribution-related transactions you undertake with us. By accessing our services, placing an order, or entering into a business relationship with Redrex, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our services.

3. Services Offered

Redrex provides national and regional road freight and logistics services, including but not limited to:

  • Parcel distribution

  • Scheduled delivery services

  • Freight forwarding

  • Collection and delivery of goods

  • Distribution route planning

  • Tracking and proof of delivery (POD) services

4. Client Obligations

Clients must:

  • Provide accurate and complete contact and delivery information.

  • Ensure that all parcels are properly packed, labeled, and documented.

  • Comply with our payment terms and conditions.

  • Not send any illegal, hazardous, or restricted items through our services.

Failure to comply may result in service suspension, cancellation, or legal action.

5. Rates and Quotations

All quotations provided are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated in writing. Rates are based on:

  • Weight and dimensions of the goods

  • Collection and delivery locations

  • Type of service selected

  • Any additional service requirements (e.g., insurance, express delivery)

We reserve the right to revise rates in response to fuel surcharges, toll fees, regulatory changes, or economic factors.

6. Payment Terms

  • Standard payment terms are 30 days from date of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Interest of 2% per month will be charged on overdue accounts.

  • Invoices are deemed accepted unless disputed in writing within 7 calendar days of receipt.

  • Redrex reserves the right to suspend services if payments are overdue.

7. Liability and Insurance

Redrex will take all reasonable precautions to ensure safe and timely delivery of goods. However, we are not liable for:

  • Damage caused by inadequate packaging

  • Delays caused by weather, strikes, or third-party disruptions

  • Losses due to incorrect delivery information provided by the client

Optional insurance coverage is available upon request. It is the client’s responsibility to request additional cover and declare the value of goods.

8. Delivery Timeframes

While we aim to meet all delivery timeframes, all times quoted are estimates and not guaranteed unless explicitly stated in writing. Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.

9. Prohibited Items

Clients may not use our services to send:

  • Dangerous goods (unless agreed in writing)

  • Firearms or ammunition

  • Flammable or corrosive items

  • Narcotics or illegal substances

  • Cash, jewelry, or other high-value uninsurable items

Violation of this clause may result in immediate termination of service and possible legal action.

10. Proof of Delivery (POD)

All deliveries are accompanied by a POD, which serves as confirmation that the parcel was delivered and accepted. Electronic or physical signatures are deemed valid forms of proof.

11. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Orders may be canceled up to 24 hours before scheduled collection.

  • Once goods are in transit, cancellations are not permitted.

  • Refunds will be processed only if services were not rendered due to an error on the part of Redrex.

12. Indemnity

Clients agree to indemnify and hold Redrex harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of:

  • Breach of these Terms

  • Misuse of our services

  • Transmission of prohibited or misdeclared items

13. Amendments to Terms

Redrex reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and will be deemed accepted if services continue to be used after publication.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
